CHEBOYGAN – Last Friday, the Cheboygan baseball team delivered a walk-off win to seal a split with Boyne City. Six days later, it was another walk-off ending for the Chiefs, who avenged a 7-3 game one loss to Gaylord by coming from behind to earn a 4-3 victory at home on Thursday.

In what's become a running theme this season, Elk Rapids gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Petoskey Northmen as the Elk Rapids Elks made off with a 16-6 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Elk Rapids as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
