As a part of his first transfer portal class as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion Sanders nabbed five transfers from the program he once starred at.

There were five Florida State Seminoles in his portal class of over 50 players, and as of Tuesday, just two of those former Seminoles remain. Defensive back Omarion Cooper announced via social media on Tuesday that after just one season in Boulder, he would be returning to Tallahassee.

Cooper recorded 37 tackles and 5 passes defended this past season, and was expected to move to safety ahead of the 2024 season. The former four-star recruit will be a senior next season, and will have a chance to return closer to home.

As for Colorado, they have landed a handful of corner transfers and also returned one of the best players in college football in two-way star Travis Hunter.
