Coach Prime put all the attention on Boulder, Colorado during the start of the 2023 college football season and is expected to do the same once the Colorado Buffaloes kick off in 2024. Sanders transformed the Buffaloes’ roster in his first year on the job by attracting top talents through the transfer portal.

As he enters his second year at the helm, he finds a new resource, the 5430 Alliance . This new NIL collective crowdsource funds from Buffalo fans in exchange for unique experiences. They also allow fans to contribute tax-deductible donations to Colorado Athletics.

Sanders issued a statement to On3 making it clear he’s on board with the next chapter of NIL at Colorado.

“WE HERE and we’re not settling for nothing! We have a commitment to DOMINATE on and off the field, and in order to do that we need to DOMINATE in our NIL program as well,” Sanders told On3 in a statement. “5430 Alliance gives EVERY darn Colorado fan the opportunity to be a part of HISTORY. IT DON’T STOP BABY!”

With so many of Coach Prime’s players cementing their own NIL deals, the earnings from the 5430 Alliance will also be distributed to student-athletes for non-revenue sports.
