LIMA, Ohio (June 7, 2024) Rolling between Indiana and Ohio this past week, Abby Hohlbein kept busy with USAC Indiana Midget Week at Lincoln Park, followed by GLSS at Limaland. Behind the wheel with Joyner Motorsports on Thursday, June 6, Abby had to play catchup after hitting the scales light during qualifying. Youth golfers play well at LJGA event
LIMA — Several young golfers finished in the top five of their age divisions at Thursday's Heartlight Pharmacy Open at the Oaks Golf Club in Lima. The tournament was the second of the season for the Lima Junior Golf Association. The first tournament was Tuesday at the Tamarac Golf Course.

——- The first game of the baseball season in Sidney was played at the new ball grounds at the top of Orbison hill yesterday, the Sidney boys being opposed by the Versailles team. The grounds have been recently improved by being scraped, and were in fine condition for an excellent game. There was a large crowd out to see the game, and the only disappointment in store for them was that Sidney did not win.
Kids learning safety tips thanks to Lima Noon Optimists
The Lima Noon Optimist Club is continuing their mission to keep children safe this summer. This is the second week of their Safety City program, dedicated to teaching kids vital safety skills, from navigating traffic to understanding fire safety and even personal safety tips. Kids participate in interactive sessions where they learn to cross streets safely and understand the importance of staying alert in different situations.
DOBIE SECURES FIRST GLSS WIN!
Lima, OH – The GLSS Ohio CAT Sprint Division rolled into Limaland Motorsports Park for the 4th time this season on Friday night. This time the 4th time was the charm and we were able to get our first official race at Limaland in the books with Wapakoneta, OH native Devon Dobie winning his first ever GLSS race at his childhood track.
