Owners of damaged Nicholasville businesses continue recovery 5 weeks after tornado
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - In Nicholasville, business owners are on the lookout, preparing for another round of severe weather. April 7 marks five weeks since an EF1 tornado packing winds of an estimated 110 miles an hour ran through Park Central Avenue, damaging at least 30 buildings, according to Jessamine County Emergency Management officials.

Wilmore’s namesake aboard Boeing Starliner set for launch
WILMORE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two rockets are set to launch from the east coast of Florida on Monday, and aboard is a descendant of Wilmore’s namesake family. Monday marks the Boeing Starliner’s first launch to the International Space Station with a crew aboard the spacecraft, according to NASA. The Associated Press reported that the first launch in 2019 didn’t make it to the space station due to software issues. After a repeat of the demo in 2022, the spacecraft encountered parachute and flammable tape issues.
