BOGALUSA, La. — The state's auditor's office said the city of Bogalusa could move forward with its 2024 operating budget despite not completing an audit in 2022. On Monday, the mayor of Bogalusa called a special meeting and invited the state's auditor's office to attend. According to Mayor Tyrin Truong, the auditor was there to address concerns about the city's lack of compliance with a 2022 audit.
