BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — This past Saturday, a report was made that counterfeit money was used to enter the Boardman Community Baseball Fields of Dreams.

Police responded to the call around 9:25 a.m. According to the police report, the business was counting money collected from admission fees from a youth baseball game at the end of the day Friday when they discovered a fraudulent $20 bill that read “Motion Picture Purposes” at the top right corner.

At around 9 a.m. Saturday, the business received another fake bill with the same printing.

Admission to the park was only $5, and the business believes $15 was returned to both of the parties that used the fraudulent bills.

Those at the business also reported that two other fraudulent bills were used at the concession stand.

    The investigation is ongoing.
