    • Disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building
    • Violent entry and disorderly conduct in a capitol building
    • Parading, demonstrating or picketing in a capitol building.

Hundreds of people breached the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, protesting the results of the 2020 election before members of Congress were expected to verify the election’s results.

According to court documents, filed on April 27 in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, Vo, through his attorney, appealed his conviction, sentence and final judgment that was entered on April 15.

The FBI received tips that Vo was in the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Officials said they used social media photos and videos to show that he was in the Capitol during the riot. During the trial, Vo called himself a “J6 wrongful convict” and attended a vigil organized by supporters of defendants who were charged in relation to the riot.
