Alpena MI – Today we saw plenty of sunshine with temperatures in the lower 40s. Now expected temperatures to approach record breaking territory for Tuesday with highs in the mid 60s in spots. Tonight we will be partly cloudy with lows in the 30s. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with showers and even a couple of thunderstorms in some spots unseasonably warm with highs in the mid 60s; approaching record high territory. However, a cold front will past through the area on Wednesday and we will briefly return to winter before we return to warmer temperatures this weekend. We are not expecting any severe weather for our area on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but don’t be surprised if you see a couple flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder.
