BLHS Wins over BOLD in Section 2A Girls Playoffs
(Sibley East High School, Arlington, MN) -- The BOLD Warriors girls basketball traveled to Sibley East High School in Arlington to take on the BLHS Mustangs Thursday night for Section 2A playoffs. The Warriors did all they could to keep up with the Mustangs in the second half but it wasn’t enough as the BLHS Mustangs went on to win by a final score of 66-39.
Gaylord committee members all resign after one person is not re-appointed
Gaylord Heritage Preservation Committee (HPC) has dissolved following a City Council decision in early January, according to an article in the Gaylord Hub. Gaylord City Council member Chad Muchow, during the organizational meeting in early January, said he agreed with Mayor Dawn Kratzke’s annual appointments, except for Dale Johnson on the HPC. Muchow made that his motion. It was seconded by City Council member Jessica Uecker and passed unanimously. City Council member Tony Padilla was not present at the meeting.

HUTCHINSON – The Delano/Watertown-Mayer boys swimming and diving team competed at the Section 3A meet and came away with a strong showing. As a team, the Tigers finished in third place with a team score of 360. Hutchinson won the team title with a team score of 403 while Monticello took second place.
