Suspect arrested on multiple charges after arrest in Bethel

BETHEL, N.C. (WNCT) — A suspect has been arrested and is facing numerous charges after his arrest for multiple crimes.

Markavious Antonio Williams, 34, was arrested by deputies with the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office after warrants were issued for his arrest. The arrest warrants were issued after deputies developed him as a suspect in a larceny at Family Dollar in Bethel, an attempted breaking and entering at Family Dollar, tampering with a motor vehicle (school bus) at Bethel School and breaking and entering into the school.

A deputy saw Williams in Bethel at the Family Dollar and arrested him without incident. Two counts of probation violation were also added to his charges.

He was booked in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
