Pedestrian badly hurt in hit-and-run on east side of city
Police are asking for the public’s help finding a motorist who fled the U.S. 64 interchange for East Raleigh Boulevard in the eastern part of the city after striking a pedestrian late Saturday night. Officers at 11:05 p.m. responded to the scene of the hit-and-run. The pedestrian was taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville with life-threatening injuries, police said.
