    Winterville police seeking hit-and-run suspect after pedestrian killed

    WINTERVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — The Winterville Police Department is asking for assistance in finding the suspect in a hit-and-run fatality that happened on Monday.

    Police said Marquez Outlaw, 32, of Grifton, was located by officers on Hwy 11 South near Davenport Farm Road at around 9:20 p.m. on Monday. Officials are not sure exactly when the crash happened.

    Investigators say the information is limited but they believe the vehicle involved was a Ford. It was not clear what kind of Ford it was.
