SMASH It LLC rage relief room to open in Bennington

BENNINGTON, Vt. ( NEWS10 ) — A new rage relief room is coming to Bennington in the coming weeks called SMASH It LLC. The owner says the family-owned business hopes to open up the first week in June.

There will be various options to relieve stress at the venue, including smashing objects in a controlled environment, painting, and even the option to scream. Those wishing to smash objects must be 13 years or older and those 12 and under can participate in the painting. They are also offering a military and first responder discount when shown valid identification.

The tentative hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but these hours may change. The business says they will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The owners are accepting donations of objects to smash for inventory. They are looking for cups, plates, televisions, microwaves, and more that people wish to get rid of.
