We’re lucky to live here, for all sorts of reasons. One that we often take for granted is our extraordinary energy service. Holy Cross Electric is the power provider in most of Eagle County. Most of us don’t even know that we, Holy Cross customers, are also its owners. Eagle-Vail’s Sullivan Middaugh, the two-time defending XTERRA USA champion, collected his first-career Continental Cup win earlier this month. The 20-year-old won the 2024 Americas Triathlon Cup in Calima, Columbia on May 5th. Middaugh completed the draft-legal road triathlon — which consisted of a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and 5-kilometer run — in 57 minutes, 6 seconds to take a 70-second victory over his fellow Project Podium teammate, Keller Norland.
