According to the post, the case originated after nursing and social services staff at Crowne Healthcare of North Baldwin reported concerns to the Bay Minette Police Department.

Sgt. Robert Fares of the Bay Minette Police Department originally investigated the case, assisted by Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office Investigator Tucker Clay Davison. Assistant District Attorney Kristi Hagood prosecuted the case.

“The District Attorney’s Office would like to thank everyone for their hard work in this case. But most of all, the District Attorney’s Office would like to thank the victim, the victim’s family, the staff at Crowne Healthcare, and the community witnesses whose testimony was vital in presenting the case in court so that the accused could be brought to justice,” the post states.

Sentencing is set for June 12, 2024, according to the post.
