LSU star Hailey Van Lith has been under fire for her decision to leave the Tigers and transfer after having transferred into Baton Rouge. Her teammate Flau'jae Johnson gives her credit for what she was able to do against Caitlin Clark, despite contact criticism.

The podcast hosts that mentioned Van Lith's decision to transfer also spoke on her inability to guard Calrk in the NCAA tournament. While Van Lith may have struggled, Johnson believes she's getting way too much blame for the doffcit task.

"You cann't guard that girl for 40 minutes. She stepped up for the challenge at the end of the day. I had to follow the scouting report," said Johnson, via WNBA Got Game on X.

Guarding Clark isn't an easy task and the challenge isn't the reason for Van Lith's transfer decision, says Johnson.

Clark will have a chance to make that same mark at the professional level as she starts her journey in the WNBA.
