EF-1 tornado touches down in South County as storms leave behind damage, flooding
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A portion of the St. Louis area was flooded and damaged as heavy rain moved across the region Sunday evening. An EF-1 tornado touched down in South County just before 5:50 p.m. It went east, crossed the Mississippi River and lifted up west of Columbia, Illinois just after 6:02 p.m. Nobody was injured. The National Weather Service made the determination Monday afternoon.
