A Watervliet man accused of killing a man with a pipe wrench has been denied his request for lower bail. Cyrus J. Saratoga County business owner pleads guilty to tax evasion
ALBANY, N.Y. (WRGB) — A Saratoga County business owner pleaded guilty Friday to federal charges stemming from alleged tax evasion from 2017 to 2021. According to a release, Bruce Bochette, 67, of Charlton evaded income taxes on more than $825,000 in business income by depositing checks and portions of checks into his personal account that were payments from his painting company’s commercial clients. Prosecutors further alleged that Bochette did not report his income to the IRS, on either his company’s tax returns or his personal tax returns, and did not pay taxes on his income.
