Missing Man and Wanted Suspect Cases solved – Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office
In the early morning hours on November 23rd, YCSO received a report of an abandoned vehicle that had been off South Wagoner Road off Highway 89 near Wilhoit, for 7 days. It was learned that the vehicle belonged to Jeffery McCombs who was reported missing out of Phoenix on 11/15/23. Deputies arrived and found the vehicle unlocked with the keys, wallet and cell phone in the center console.
Four-car collision sends one to hospital
BULLHEAD CITY — A four-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon that briefly slowed traffic on Highway 95 sent one to the hospital. At about 3:29 p.m. Nov. 30, a brown Toyota pickup truck traveling southbound on Highway 95 reportedly struck a white Dodge Charger in the area of Highway 95 and Central Avenue, just south of the Mohave Crossroads Shopping Center.

Trail Closure in Effect for Trail East of Lynx Lake to Protect Bald Eagles
Beginning December 1, 2024, prohibitions along the John’s Tank Trail will be enforced on the Prescott National Forest east of Lynx Lake. These prohibitions will protect the nesting bald eagles from the potential disturbance from human presence during the nesting season. While the John’s Tank Trail #94 will be closed to all uses, the Lynx Lake Shore Trail #311 and Salida Gulch Trail #95 will remain open for their respective uses. This closure will remain in effect seasonally each year from December 1 through June 30.

Elderly man missing since last month found deceased in car in Yavapai County
COTTONWOOD, Ariz. — A 79-year-old man who has been missing for the last month was recently found deceased in a car located in a remote area of Yavapai County. The Cottonwood Police Department said Edward Dominick's white Chevrolet Equinox was found last week west of Interstate 17 near Blood Basin Road. Dominick was found deceased inside his vehicle and no signs of foul play were observed, police said.
