Game of the Week | Tahoka football tries for district title at Roscoe
Here's a look at the best high school football games in the Lubbock area in Week 10. GAME OF THE WEEK Tahoka (6-2, 3-0) at Roscoe (3-5, 2-1) 7 p.m. Friday, Plowboy Field The District 3-2A Division II title is on the line Friday — one scenario is just more cut and dry. A win by Tahoka and the Bulldogs will earn their first outright district championship since 2019. If Roscoe wins, the Plowboys will still need to beat Crosbyton in the regular-season finale to take a share of the crown. With Big Spring Pathway canceling the remainder of its season, Tahoka is already assured a piece of the district title, but an undefeated run would be a much better way to enter the postseason. Either way, the Bulldogs will now be open in Week 11. Tahoka has won five of its past six games, including three in a row. Following their 50-18 victory over Ralls last week, the Bulldogs have allowed 18.7 points on average in district. It was also Tahoka's second 50-point outing on the year. Roscoe missed its opportunity at an outright district title with a 22-14 loss to Lockney last week. Ironically, the Longhorns (4-4, 2-1)
