(CBS 58) -- Parker Loofboro was in his bedroom, talking to his girlfriend on Sunday afternoon, when he heard what he describes as “a big, loud noise.”. “It started hailing like 30 minutes before and then the wind really picked up,” the Milton native told CBS 58’s Ellie Nakamoto-White. “It felt like 20, 30 seconds at most and just did all this damage and then five seconds after, it was sunny again. Fort holds ‘Rock Day’ observance
Some 840 Fort Atkinson High School students, along with members of the community and distinguished military guests on Friday observed “Rock Day.”. The annually memorial observance, now in its 105th year, included seven student speakers, music performed by members of the high school music department, and the ceremonial placing of flags around a rock and plaque, which serve as the high school’s monument to Fort Atkinson’s fallen soldiers.
