    'Armed and dangerous' man wanted in connection to fatal Tudor Drive shooting in Augusta

    The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is searching for a person they say is responsible for the shooting death of a 37-year-old Augusta man.

    Ryon Mcconey Lewis, 39, has active arrest warrants sworn out against him for suspicion of murder and possession of a gun during a crime, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

    The shooting happened early Wednesday at the intersection of Tudor and Carp drives. Gregory Dunn, 37, of Augusta, was shot at least once and pronounced dead at the scene just before 1 a.m., according to previous reporting.

    Lewis is believed to be armed and dangerous, according to the release. He is a 5-foot-9, 165 pounds, Black with short black hair. He is known to frequent the Fish Village and Boy Scout Road neighborhoods and has family connections in New Orleans, Louisiana, according to the release.
