The Pickleball Themed Restaurant of Your Dreams Just Opened in Atlanta

Coming off the massive energy of the pickleball craze in America, and perfectly timed to yesterday's announcement of 1000 Stories becoming the Official Wine of Minto US OPEN Pickleball Championships, Painted Pickle , a high end pickleball compeatery ™, gaming and entertainment venue, opens its doors today in Atlanta, Georgia! The unique venue is located in an industrial indoor/outdoor warehouse known as “The Armour Ottley Loop" in between Buckhead and Midtown. Painted Pickle offers an expansive front and rear patio directly adjacent to the new Northeast segment of the Atlanta BeltLine , which has benefited from a huge capital investment in recent years and was developed on a former railway corridor.

The menu caters to the active lifestyle and aims to revitalize, restore, and comfort. Items will include shareable small plates, salads, bowls, sushi, charcuterie boards and paninis . The beverage program focuses on signature and classic cocktails, local and craft beer and artisanal wines by the glass and bottle.

The 32,500 square foot space houses an indoor pickleball 'court'yard with eight individually-contained courts—outfitted with permanent nets, a cottage clubhouse, an elevated central seating area overlooking center court, and one signature outdoor court. Painted Pickle has engaged Ivan Vizcaya, former member of the University of Georgia tennis team, as the Athletic Director. Vizcaya is a a certified PPR pickleball instructor and he boasts multiple 5 gold medals and 5 wins in two professional pickleball tournaments.

In addition to the unique pickleball programming, Painted Pickle also features a stage for live music and other competitive pub games and social amenities—including an indoor putting green and gaming lawn, ping pong, bucketball, subsoccer tables, cornhole, table shuffleboard, darts, strategy and board games, beach and lawn games and other unique competitive gaming options.
