A revolutionary winemaker and visionary from maybe the most under-appreciated wine region of California is descending on New Jersey: pn Thursday, May 9th, Bill Easton will host a pop-up wine dinner at Blu on the Hudson . In the 1970s Bill founded Solano Cellars wine shop in Berkeley, CA which continues to be an essential institution today. He went on to found Terre Rouge & Easton Cellars —as well as be an OG member of the Rhône Rangers—a group of American winemakers who pioneered the Rhône varietals in California. Bill has been a luminary in the Sierra Foothills and continues to do boundary breaking work in the region.

Prepare to be amazed as Bill shares his winemaking process and unveils some of his most exceptional deep-aged vintage wines from his private collection. These include 2006 Roussanne, 1999 Zinfandel, and Ascent 2016, which was recently awarded a perfect 100-point rating from Wine Enthusiast and was #2 on their Top 100 List in 2020.
