An incoming sushi place, a closing children's boutique and more
Welcome to The Buzz newsletter! If you're an early riser like I am, I hope you've also been enjoying the morning golden hour while we still have the fall leaves to admire. I've been taking morning walks, and it's seriously picture perfect everywhere you look – I'll miss that as we head into the cold front of winter. Anyways, here's what's been going on in the world of business: First up, I reported on the upcoming closure of Little Bear Boutique, a children's boutique in Kaukauna. We covered the business shortly after it opened back in January and addressed what people should know about the store as it enters its final days. Next, exciting news in the world of food trucks as MeowMeow Sushi is currently working on opening a brick-and-mortar in Appleton. The sushi spot is expected to open in the coming few months, and the food truck will continue popping up around the Fox Cities in the meantime. Serial killer expert has a 'Chilling Evening' in store for Green Bay
Spend the night before Halloween with Dr. Katherine Ramsland and you’re likely to leave the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center feeling both enlightened and a little freaked out. As a forensic psychologist who has studied and corresponded with serial killers for three decades, she’s an expert on the kind of scary that only true crime can deliver. Her “Cracking the Serial Killer Code: A Chilling Evening with Dr. Katherine Ramsland” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30 offers a look into the minds of such notorious figures as Dennis Radar, better known as “BTK,” and Elmer Wayne Henley Jr., the teen accomplice to the “Candy Man" (Dean Arnold Corll). When Ramsland goes on the road with her live talks, it’s also a chance to bring up killers that might be relevant to audiences in whatever market she’s in. So in Wisconsin, Jeffrey Dahmer or Ed Gein may pop up, and because her appearance is so close to Halloween, she says “serial killer ghosts” could also get some time. “I don’t want to downplay the fact that this is all very disturbing. I want people to be disturbed so that they take measures to keep themselves protected, but at the same time I don’t

These 8 Green Bay, Wisconsin Mexican Restaurants Know How To Keep Locals Coming Back
One Green Bay taqueria sits right next to a Papa Murphy’s, and it has its own drive-thru window. I love that a plate of tacos can be ordered without leaving your car. The surprises keep coming in this Wisconsin city. One spot near Lambeau Field decorates its dining room with a Packers theme. Another serves pork head burritos and fried mojarra alongside the usual favorites.
