GLASGOW, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A Putnam County man is facing an attempted murder charge after investigators say he seriously injured a man after an argument over a canopy. Putnam man sentenced to prison for embezzling thousands from historic charitable care home
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Putnam County man was sentenced to prison Monday for embezzling thousands of dollars from a historic charitable care home. Paul Richard Spurlock, 67, of Hurricane was sentenced to eight months in prison and ordered to pay $106,500 in restitution to the Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, according to a news release from the West Virginia Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.
