Man accused of grabbing child in Charleston, attempting to lure them with toys
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A man was charged Saturday with attempting to kidnap two children on Charleston’s West Side. Jody A. Jones, 46, of Charleston is charged with attempted kidnapping in an incident over the weekend near Washington Street West and Hunt Avenue, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

WVDOH crews clean I-64 drain after storm-related flooding
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - One side of the drain is cleared while the other side is filled with mud and grass on part of Interstate 64. Crews with the West Virginia Department of Transportation can be seen clearing that drain on the eastbound side of I-64. Kanawha County emergency management said another area of I-64 heading west, just before the I-64 and I-77 split, was shut down due to water covering the road.
