Firefighter Injured, Family Displaced in Pasco County House Fire
HOLIDAY, FLa.- Two people were injured in a house fire Monday morning in Holiday. One was a Pasco County Firefighter. Firefighters arrived on scene of a working structure fire on Perkin Drive in Holiday around 5AM Monday. According to officials, one firefighter sustained injuries during the blaze and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

Port Richey man held in Clearwater hit-and-run
CLEARWATER — Traffic homicide investigators have arrested a Port Richey man in connection with a May 13 hit-and-run crash that fatally injured a man on a scooter. Kris Paterson, 37, was originally charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury. But police said it was expected the Pinellas-Pasco State Attorney’s Office will file upgraded charges against the suspect following the death of the victim.
