Michigan has scheduled a number of offseason official visits with top targets for later this offseason in the month of June.

The Wolverine examines the prospects expected to be in Ann Arbor and where things currently stand. As the days and weeks progress, more targets will be on the docket.

    May 31-June 2

Top 100 WR Derek Meadows , Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman – Listed as the No. 35 overall prospect and the No. 6 wide receiver nationally, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, Meadows will return to Michigan following his first trip on April 20 for the spring game. Wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy has kept in close contact with Meadows and his family, who are originally from in-state. Meadows also lived in Chicagoland growing up, so he’s good friends with Tyler Morris and I’Marion Stewart. U-M is eyeing a bigger-bodied target on the outside this cycle and Meadows fits the mold.

Top 100 OL Douglas Utu , Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman – As the No. 48 overall prospect and No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 recruiting class, per the On3 Industry Ranking, Utu will join Meadows, who are Bishop Gorman teammates, for the weekend at Michigan. Utu has held an offer from the reigning College Football Playoff winners for two years, and made his first appearance in Schembechler Hall in late March during spring camp practice. Head coach Sherrone Moore and offensive line coach Grant Newsome are leading the way to land Utu.

Top 100 safety Kainoa Winston , Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga Prep – The On3 Industry Ranking lists Winston as the No. 99 overall prospect in the country and the No. 1 recruit in D.C. A former teammate of Michigan offensive tackle Evan Link, the junior defender made his first-ever trip to Ann Arbor last weekend. Winston’s official visits with the Wolverines will proceed June officials to North Carolina, Oregon, and Penn State. Defensive backs coach LaMar Morgan has been in contact with Winston and so has Moore. The latter took over communication when Steve Clinkscale departed for Los Angeles.

On300 EDGE Marco Jones , Danville (Calif.) San Ramon Valley – The On3 Industry Ranking puts Jones as the No. 142 overall prospect and the No. 20 EDGE in the country. He’s become a massive priority for Michigan among the pass rusher targets, and has established rapport with defensive line coach Lou Esposito. The family traveled to campus for the first time last month for the intrasquad scrimmage, where Jones constructed a bond with U-M EDGE commit Nate Marshall.

    June 7-9

Top 100 OL SJ Alofaituli , Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman – Listed as the No. 67 overall prospect in the 2025 class, No. 4 interior offensive lineman, and No. 3 player in Nevada, the official visit for Alofaituli will be a return as he took in last season’s win over Ohio State at The Big House. Like Utu, Alofaituli’s offer from Michigan was extended before his sophomore campaign, and has built a good relationship with Moore in that time. Since Newsome took over as offensive line coach in the winter, he’s kept consistent contact with Alofaituli as well. From Hawaii, Alofaituli grew up with 2024 running back Micah Ka’apana before they were teammates at Bishop Gorman.

Top 100 RB Jordon Davison , Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei – The No. 90 overall prospect, No. 5 running back, and No. 8 player in California, per the On3 Industry Ranking, Davison’s official visit to Michigan will be his second of the month with Alabama (May 31-June 2), Oregon (June 14-16), and Ohio State (June 21-23) also scheduled. Davison’s interest in the Wolverines was revitalized because of his relationship with running backs coach Tony Alford, who recruited the junior when he was at OSU. After two visits to Ann Arbor earlier in his high school career, Davison returned in late March where he reunited with Alford and Moore.

    June 14-16

Five-star OT Andrew Babalola , Overland Park (Kans.) Blue Valley Northwest – Babalola is the lone five-star on the On3 Industry Ranking currently expected to officially visit Michigan next month. Ranked as the No. 20 overall prospect and No. 4 offensive tackle in the country, Babalola was born in the Metro Detroit area, and is tight with Moore because of their Kansas roots. Now residing in suburban Kansas City, Babalola has known U-M offensive tackle signee Andrew Sprague for years, having played AAU basketball together. Babalola first visited Ann Arbor in late March.

Top 100 WR Quincy Porter , Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic – Ranked as the No. 44 overall prospect, No. 8 wide receiver, and No. 1 player in New Jersey, Porter is in the same threshold as Meadows in terms of the ideal playmaker who can be a mismatch nightmare on the outside. All of the Michigan offensive staff showed up to Porter’s school during the spring evaluation period, and the junior made a return visit to campus in early April. He also was at the late July BBQ at The Big House last year. Other planned officials for Porters are Penn State (May 31-June 2), Ohio State (June 7-9), and Oklahoma (June 21-23).

Top 100 safety JaDon Blair , Winston Salem (N.C.) Mount Tabor – Listed as the No. 85 overall prospect and No. 8 safety in the country, per On3, Blair is recently coming off his first-ever visit to Michigan in late March, where he formulated chemistry with Morgan and the rest of the staff. U-M has tabbed Blair as a top priority, and the junior appreciates that the program considers him a “Michigan Man.” Penn State, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Florida State, and Virginia Tech are also scheduled to receive officials from Blair in two months.

On300 LB & Miami Commit Elijah Melendez , Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola – Listed as the No. 9 overall linebacker nationally, according to On3, Melendez returned to Michigan over the weekend to meet the new coaching staff and soak in spring camp practice. He has a preexisting relationship with linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary, and is familiar with campus because of his visit in late November for The Game. Melendez committed to Miami in mid-December, but has continued to be impressed with U-M’s culture and atmosphere.

Four-star OL Alai Kalaniuvalu , Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman – Along with Alofaituli and Ka’apana, joining them for the Ohio State game in late November was Kalaniuvalu, who makes up the trio of offensive linemen at Bishop Gorman who possess Michigan offers. As the No. 223 overall prospect and No. 15 interior offensive lineman nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking, Kalaniuvalu has been impressed with what he’s been hearing from Newsome this offseason from their time getting to know each other, and his relationship with Moore dates back to when he was living in Utah.

Four-star WR Phillip Wright , Destrehan (La.) High – The On3 Industry Ranking lists Wright as the No. 378 overall prospect and the No. 61 wide receiver this cycle. He’s from the same area as Bellamy, so their Louisiana connection has led to the pair conducting contact often. His official visit to Michigan will follow an official to Baylor on June 7-9, as well as his trip for the April 20 spring game at The Big House.

Three-star RB Jasper Parker , New Orleans (La.) Archbishop Shaw – Ranked as the No. 31 overall running back nationally and the No. 15 prospect in Louisiana, according to On3, Parker’s relationship with Alford is strong because of the latter being viewed as a role model and mentor. Alford and Bellamy, who serves as the area recruiter for Louisiana, both stopped by Jasper’s school during the spring evaluation period. The junior made his first visit to Michigan in mid-April, and is looking forward to seeing the culture on campus more in-depth. Oklahoma State, Auburn, and others are also involved.

    June 21-23

Top 100 OL Michael Carroll , Doylestown (Pa.) Central Bucks East – Ranked as the No. 27 overall prospect and No. 2 interior offensive lineman nationally, per On3, Carroll’s scheduled official visit will be his first trip to campus. After enjoying the annual BBQ at The Big House event, Carroll returned twice in the fall and later watched spring camp practice last month. Rutgers will also host Carroll on an official, with Penn State, Wisconsin, and Tennessee in the mix. The junior has close connections with both Moore and Newsome.

Top 100 safety Jordan Young , Monroe (N.C.) High – Michigan is the most recent offer for Young, On3’s No. 36 overall prospect, No. 2 safety, and No. 3 player in North Carolina, which transpired two months ago, but he’s been impressed with how strong of a push the program has made this spring. Defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale and Morgan traveled to meet with Young at his school recently and both are showing a commitment to land the four-star’s services. Young got his first look at last season’s national title winners in mid-April.

Top 100 EDGE Nate Marshall & Michigan Commit Nate Marshall, Oak Park (Ill.) Fenwick – The highest-rated Michigan commit in the 2025 recruiting class, Marshall is the No. 42 overall prospect, No. 4 defensive lineman, and No. 2 player in Illinois, per the On3 Industry Ranking. Marshall was a priority for Moore and Esposito leading up to his return to U-M for the spring game, and shortly following the visit, he publicly reported the pledge. Marshall has working hard in peer recruiting, with key targets like Jones and four-star EDGE Jaylen Williams among the focuses for him.

Top 100 LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng , Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy – Listed as the No. 70 overall prospect and the No. 4 linebacker nationally, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, Owusu-Boateng iterated that Michigan is standing out because of his first visit on campus in late April this offseason. It led to him scheduling a return for next month, where he’ll earn more time with Jean-Mary, Moore, and Martindale. The versatility that U-M’s linebackers have showed in the current scheme match what Owusu-Boateng brings to the table.

Top 100 TE Andrew Olesh , Center Valley (Pa.) Southern Lehigh – As On3’s No. 3 overall tight end in the country and No. 4 recruit in Pennsylvania, Olesh will get his first look at Michigan on the official visit. Tight ends coach Steve Casula issued an offer to Olesh at the beginning of March, and they quickly established a bond. Olesh e’s noted three schools that have appeared to stand out above the rest – U-M, Penn State, and Alabama. He’s been to Happy Valley eight times, which has made the Nittany Lions an early lean.

On300 OL Hardy Watts , West Roxbury (Mass.) Dexter School – On3 lists Watts as the No. 119 overall prospect nationally and the No. 1 player in Massachusetts. Michigan is one of four schools scheduled to host Watts on official visits next month, along with Clemson (June 2-4), Wisconsin (June 7-9), and Duke (June 14-16). A date for Boston College is to be determined. Watts first visited U-M in late March for a spring camp practice, and just had Newsome appear at his school last week.

On300 QB & Michigan Commit Carter Smith , Ft. Myers (Fla.) Bishop Verot – Listed as the No. 16 overall quarterback in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, Smith has also scheduled a return to Michigan for the spring game on April 20. It’ll be his first time back in Ann Arbor since late November for the Ohio State game. The reigning Gatorade Player of the Year for Ohio has been locked in with the Wolverines for over four months and hasn’t looked back on his decision, which was announced soon following his first trip to campus for the Purdue game.

On300 LB Kamar Archie , Princeton (N.J.) Hun School – On3 ranks Archie as the No. 196 overall prospect, No. 21 linebacker, and the No. 7 player in New Jersey. His first appearance at Michigan occurred before the hire of Jean-Mary back in early February, but his familiarity with the assistant led to them continuing communication this offseason. Archie’s set official visit in Ann Arbor replaces his original plan of returning to Tennessee, where Jean-Mary coached the last three years. Archie is a former teammate of 2024 defensive lineman signee Owen Wafle.

Four-star DL & Michigan Commit Bobby Kanka , Howell (Mich.) High – Bobby is the longest-serving Michigan commit this cycle, having made his decision this past August following a return for the July barbecue. Kanka, whose the No. 26 ranked defensive lineman and No. 3 in-state player by On3, had a good relationship with Mike Elston, but Esposito traveled to Howell to meet with the junior and family for a few hours, which resulted in the group leaving with a better understanding of each other. Kanka had an official visit locked in to Tennessee on Victor’s Weekend, but will instead head back to Ann Arbor. Michigan State is pushing to flip Kanka and is expected to host him in East Lansing on June 14-16.

Four-star OL Avery Gach , Birmingham (Mich.) Groves – Gach became the second in-state prospect this cycle to pick Michigan earlier this month after choosing to remain close to home over other finalists Ohio State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin. Joining an offensive line unit that’s won the Joe Moore Award twice in the past three seasons, and learning under Moore and Newsome, were catalysts in Gach committing before the official visit slate. This spring, Gach returned to Ann Arbor three times.

Four-star WR Taz Williams , Red Oak (Tex.) High – As the No. 45 overall wide receiver in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, Williams’ final official visit is to Michigan, with Texas A&M, SMU, USC, and Penn State also set to bring him in. His first appearance inside the facilities occurred last April, and he returned earlier this month. Bellamy has a close bond with Williams, whose trainer, Margin Hooks , has known the U-M assistant for decades. Williams isn’t a born Texan, so he’s open to leaving the state for college.

Three-star OL Kaden Strayhorn , Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy – The On3 Industry Ranking has Strayhorn ranked as the No. 38 overall interior offensive lineman nationally and the No. 61 player in Florida. Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Strayhorn is a Michigan State legacy, which is a reflection of the team’s lead for the junior on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). But he’s also been to Ann Arbor on three occasions, including for the game against Ohio State last season, showing a high interest in U-M’s success of developing NFL ready offensive linemen.

Three-star TE & Michigan Commit Eli Owens , Alcoa (Tenn.) High – The On3 Industry Ranking lists Owens as the No. 26 overall tight end in the country. Committing to Michigan in early January, Owens returned to Ann Arbor earlier this month to take in spring camp practice and get face-to-face time with Casula. Like Smith, Owens is fully pledged to the national title winners and is assisting in peer recruiting key targets this cycle.

Three-star RB Todd Robinson , Valdosta (Ga.) High – Listed as the No. 528 overall prospect and No. 40 running back nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking, Robinson is another prospect coming in for Victor’s Weekend who first had an official visit set for Tennessee. Alabama (May 31-June 2), Georgia (June 7-9), and LSU (June 14-16) are also set to host the tailback. It’s been reported that the Crimson Tide and Tigers view Robinson as a defensive back, so that could be an advantage for the Wolverines.

Three-star WR Jacob Washington , New Orleans (La.) Archbishop Shaw – On3 gives Washington a No. 53 ranking among all 2025 wide receivers and No. 19 overall in Louisiana. Washington traveled to Ann Arbor for the first time earlier in the spring and left with an offer in-hand. The New Orleans native considers himself to be a deep threat weapon who can take the top off the defense, which is what Michigan is pushing for this cycle. He and Parker come from the same school that produced Bellamy.

Three-star LB Chase Taylor , Stockbridge (Ga.) High – On3 ranks Carter as the No. 52 overall linebacker in the country. His first-ever visit to Ann Arbor occurred the first weekend of April. Jean-Mary is making The Peach State native a priority on the linebacker board this cycle, and Taylor will receive another look at the Wolverines in late June. USC is also involved with Taylor, who flew to Los Angeles right after his tour of U-M.
