CANAJOHARIE, NY (WRGB) — A Montgomery County man faces felony charges, accused of selling and possessing illegal firearms and ammunition. The arrest followed an investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Fort Plain Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Liberty ARC: Unified disability services in Montgomery and Schenectady counties
The Montgomery and Schenectady Chapters of The ARC New York are officially one, under the name Liberty ARC. For the past nine months, the agencies in both counties were working towards a unification. According to the press release, chapters of The Arc New York have been pursuing opportunities to unify in recent years to help strengthen programs and services. Central NY judge resigns after pleading guilty to selling drugs
Albany, N.Y. — A Central New York judge who pleaded guilty to selling drugs has resigned his position on the bench and agreed not to seek it again. Mitchell Soules Jr., a justice of the Little Falls Town Court, pleaded guilty on April 17 to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony. He resigned the same day, according to the state Commission on Judicial Conduct.
