JACK OF ALL TRADES: Chase Husted Talks Hoops, Future in Medicine, Passion for Music
HUNTINGDON, PA (EYT) — Over the last few seasons, there have been few post players at the NCAA Division III level like former DuBois Beaver standout Chase Husted. Husted, a former three-sport standout in high school and a 2020 graduate of DuBois Area High School, has cemented a legacy as one of the top players in the history of Juniata College men’s basketball. The interesting part is he never pictured himself playing college basketball. He believed he would be on the gridiron on Saturday afternoons. Husted was an all-state tight end for the DuBois football program and even attracted the attention of programs at all three levels of the NCAA. In the end, Husted’s senior year of basketball was enough to sway his decision to play college basketball. When going through the recruiting process, there was one school that stood out above the rest. Juniata was that school because of their strong pre-medicine track and the family times to the institution for Husted.

Penn State creates official visit date for coveted 2025 recruit
It’s going to be a busy and important summer for James Franklin and his staff as Penn State looks to land some of their priority recruits in the class of 2025. With many official visits already locked in, they’re hoping that they can start to lock in commitments and wrap up another solid class that keeps this program on the right foot heading into the expanded College Football Playoff era. Originally, official visit season wasn’t scheduled to start until May 31, but that changed as one of their coveted recruits couldn’t make any of the dates work for his schedule. So, instead of...
Making sense of Penn State women's basketball’s offseason madness
To kick off the 2024 season, coach Carolyn Kieger said in October that Penn State was capable of making the Sweet 16. When March rolled around, the Lady Lions found themselves making it past the Sweet 16 and to the semifinals. However, this was for the WBIT, not the NCAA Tournament.
Penn State baseball walks it off in exciting fashion to defeat Rutgers on Senior Day

Penn State Football: Way-Too-Early Schedule Predictions
The best thing to do in the offseason is to predict how the next will go, do it in public, and then let people come back later and tell you how wrong you were. Fortunately for Penn State, the Nittany Lions have gotten to the point where — short of a wild upset — trying to predict how the season will go is not exactly rocket science. That being said, you could talk yourself into Penn State losing three regular season games or just one this year. Undefeated? Seems like a bridge too far with this schedule. Nevertheless here's a way-too-early...

Penn State started on Phase I of it $700 million renovation of Beaver Stadium in January with an estimated completion of 2027. This is the first time in several years the Nittany Lions have cracked out facilities rankings, with the expansion of five additional programs added to our usual top 25. Penn State's locker room and football facility refresh opened ahead of the 2016 season inside the Lasch Building. And there's another $48.3 million facelift coming soon.
Former Penn State wrestling star Zain Retherford qualifies to compete in 2024 Paris Summer Olympics
Doing it in the most difficult way possible might just make it even more satisfying as Zain Retherford, as the two-time PIAA champion from Benton and three-time NCAA champ from Penn State earned a trip to the Paris Summer Olympic Games over the weekend by winning six of seven rugged matches at the World Olympic Games Qualifier in Istanbul, Turkey.
