The fourth annual Safety Town: Community Safety Block Party will be held on June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the corner of North Ninth and Vine streets in the city of St. Clair. Marine City to upgrade website
The Marine City Commission on June 6 approved several administrative items, including a proposal to upgrade the city’s website. City Clerk Jason Bell said he had been working on the website upgrade for a few months and got pricing from three companies: Munibit, Revize and Granicus. The city’s current website is by CivicPlus.
Mural to brighten up pedestrian bridge support columns
CLINTON TOWNSHIP — The support columns of the pedestrian bridge at 16 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway are slated to get a splash of color. “Little House on the Prairie” comes alive in Richmond this June, when a historical society celebrates the days of log cabins with a Heritage Festival. The Richmond Area Historical and Genealogical Society (RAHGS) will host its fifth annual Heritage Festival on June 29 and 30, in and around the Richmond Historic Village, located in a section of Bailey Park at 69310 Beebe St. in Richmond. There is no cost to attend, but donations to the society can be made throughout the village.
