CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) - Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a crash in Clinton Township that killed one early Friday. Highway patrol officials say 32-year-old Daniel Vogelpohl was driving southeast on East County Road 36 around 12:30 a.m. when he drove off the right side of the road.
Anchor Bay middle school bus evacuated after crashing into ditch
Students on board an Anchor Bay school bus Friday morning had an unusual start to their day. District officials said Middle School North bus #60 went into the ditch while transporting students to the building, located on Ashley Street in New Baltimore. Teens charged after school fight, officer assaulted
WARREN — Three suspects are facing charges after a fight on the grounds of Lincoln High School April 22. On April 23, Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido’s office issued a press release announcing the charges against a 17-year-old Eastpointe youth, charged as a minor, and Danasia Kennedy-Johnson and Xavier Tayvione-Demarr Jones, both 18, charged as adults.
High schools across four counties attend Blue Water Building Trades Fair
More than 1,000 students were present at Goodells County Park for the annual Blue Water Building Trades Fair Wednesday. This was the third year that Macomb/St. Clair County MiWorks has facilitated the fair, with students from across St. Clair, Macomb, Lapeer and Sanilac counties in attendance. MiWorks Youth Program Coordinator Cristine Robson said the purpose of the fair is to provide career exploration opportunities for students in rural areas.
