LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is pushing for police officers in elementary schools across the county. Sheriff Mike Chapman made the announcement on Wednesday saying there should be a discussion about expanding school security to their 62 elementary schools with the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and School Board.

WASHINGTON — A teen is in custody for reportedly falsely calling police to an elementary school claiming there was a shooting. On April 24, officers responded to T. Clay Wood Elementary School in Nokesville, Prince William County, at 7:36 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.
