Alderson Strawberry Festival promises fun for all ages

ALDERSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Get ready to mark your calendars because the popular 2024 Alderson Strawberry Festival is just around the corner!

Taking place on Saturday, May 25th from 10 AM to 4 PM, this year’s festival promises to be an event you won’t want to miss.

Located on the Memorial Bridge in Alderson, this celebration of all things strawberry is set to enthuse attendees of all ages.

There will be no shortage of toe-tapping tunes to enjoy this year! Talented performers are set to take to the stage throughout the day.

The Goodson Boys kick off the festivities from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by Allan Dale Sizemore taking over from 2 PM to 4 PM.

Art enthusiasts and craft lovers alike will also be in for a treat as over 40 artisans and crafters will line the pedestrian bridge. From unique handcrafted treasures to one-of-a-kind artwork, there will be something for everyone.

And let’s not forget about the food! There will be a wide array of vendors at this year’s festival.

From Carol’s Soul to Soul soul food to Bandit BBQ, there will be plenty of options to satisfy your cravings.

Be sure to save room for dessert as Greenbrier Dairy will also be in attendance selling their Cow Licks ice cream.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Take a stroll down Railroad Avenue and discover even more vendors offering a variety of goods.

As a special highlight, be sure to catch the Baby Parade at 1 PM, supporting ALS.
