I’ve got friends in Ocean City
Summer is in full swing, and this week’s column reflects the happiness we all feel as we reconnect with friends, family and acquaintances. In recognition of these happy times, I want to share a song I wrote a few years ago. It is set to the tune of Garth Brooks’ country-western hit, “Friends in Low Places.” I performed my version of the song at the Mr. Mature America Pageant at the Ocean City Music Pier in 2019.
