Atlantic County Police Training Center to Hold Alternate Route Testing
The Atlantic County Police Training Center will provide testing for those interested in participating in the next Alternate Route Basic Course for Police Officers program. The written test will be administered on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:00 PM at the Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township.

An Atlantic County brewery will raise money for a rescue and rehabilitation center for displaced marine life next month. Hidden Sands Brewing Company is hosting a ticketed "Suds for Seals" fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 15, in its Egg Harbor Township taproom. The evening benefits the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the Brigantine nonprofit that cares for seals, sea turtles and other ocean animals in distress.

Four Slapped with Drug Charges in AC Motel Bust
Atlantic City Police recovered 226 wax folds of heroin and other drugs during a bust at a city motel on Pacific Avenue that led to four arrests. Police say the arrests occurred Wednesday. There will be no road closings during the work, and it will allow the new pump stations to be operational by Thanksgiving.
