    Crime Reports: $6,000+ in lawn equipment reported stolen in 4 Abilene incidents

    Editor’s Note: The following arrest and incident reports were supplied by the Abilene Police Department. All information below comes from reports made by responding officers, and all suspects are considered not guilty unless determined otherwise in a court of law.

    Incidents

    1900 block of Marshall Street – Credit/ Debit Card Abuse
    A woman reporter that her adult daughter used her new debit card and wants to press charges.

    1700 block of North 9th Street – Theft of Property
    A victim said she saw an unknown suspect on camera taking her lawn equipment valued at $325 from her backyard.

    3400 block of Highway 277 South – Theft of Property
    A trailer valued at $3,500 was reported stolen from a business.

    900 block of Kenwood Drive – Theft of Property
    Lawn equipment valued at more than $4,300 was reported stolen from a residence.

    500 block of Merchant Street – Theft of Property
    A victim reported his $350 lawn mower was stolen from his porch.

    2000 block of Belmont Boulevard – Assault
    No further information released.

    1400 block of North 6th Street – Failure to ID
    After a call for service at a family violence scene, a suspect allegedly failed to identify themself appropriately.

    1200 block of South Clack Street- Theft of Motor Vehicle
    A business reported a company vehicle missing from its parking lot.

    2300 block of Hollis Drive – Theft of Property
    Medicine reportedly went missing from a client at a local group home.

    5200 block of LLano Street – Criminal Mischief
    A resident told police a suspect damaged tires to five vehicles. Later on, the victim(s) followed the suspect until police could arrive.

    1700 block of Anderson Street – Theft of Property
    A woman reported her wallet, valued at $30, stolen overnight.

    3000 block of West Lake Road – Burglary of Vehicle
    An unknown suspect allegedly took property without permission. An amplifier and speaker valued at $275 were reported stolen.

    2400 block of Arrowhead Drive – Family Violence Assault
    A woman was arrested for biting her boyfriend’s hand, leaving a visible injury.

    3200 block of South 23rd Street – Family Violence Assault
    A man was arrested for Family Violence Assault. No further information was released.

    800 block of Mesquite Street – Family Violence Assault
    No further information was released.

    3200 block of South Danville Drive – Criminal Trespass
    A woman was arrested at a local hotel.

    2200 block of Vogel Avenue – Burglary of Building
    A victim said they saw a suspect break into a storage unit on their property. $1,100 worth of lawn equipment was reported missing.

    700 block of North Willis Street – Theft of Firearm
    A firearm was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence.

    5500 block of South Clack Street – Credit/ Debit Card Abuse
    A victim reported her bank card was fraudulently used at a local gas station.

    [LOCATION REDACTED] – Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
    A man reported that an unknown suspect pointed a handgun at his family in a road rage incident.

    3700 block of Rolling Green Drive – Fraudulent Use/ Possession Identifying Info
    A victim told police an unknown person used her information to apply for and take out loans in her name.

    1600 block of Highway 351 – Theft of Property
    A woman allegedly admitted to stealing from a local business.

    200 block of Merchant Street – Burglary of Building
    No further information released. The victim is pressing charges.

    400 block of A Poplar Street – Family Violence Assault
    Police responded to a disturbance call, finding a 28-year-old man accusing his 42-year-old uncle of assault. The uncle was arrested.

    800 block of Harwell Street – Aggravated Robbery
    No further information released.

    2800 block of South 41st Street – Criminal Mischief
    A statue valued at $1.00 was reported stolen.
