Kingston's Food Truck Night Announces 2024 Opening Day

    2024-03-22

The South Shore Food Truck Association has made the exciting announcement that their popular food truck night will be returning to Kingston for a third year of delicious food, live music, and community fun! Starting on April 18, 2024, and running until the end of September, the event will take place at the Hilltop Atheltic Association every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 8 pm.

The South Shore Food Truck Association, a group of 29 local small business owners who own mobile food vendor trucks, explains on their website that they "have joined forces to provide the best mobile food options for our local community." One of the ways they're doing this is through weekly food truck nights hosted at local businesses. In the post that announced the return of their weekly Kingston event, they invited the community to join them during the upcoming season, stating:

"The SSFTA is proud to announce that we will be returning to KINGSTON at the Hilltop Athletic Association (65 Pottle Street) for a third season of food truck nights! Join us EVERY THURSDAY from 4:30-8pm starting April 18th through the end of September! Different live music every week! New trucks AND some of your favorites! Fun for the whole family. We are excited — and hope you are too!" - The South Shore Food Truck Association

The community warmly received the announcement of Kingston's food truck night returning for another year, with the post receiving over five hundred reactions within the day. One local business and fan of the weekly food truck night, Ellie's Treats, wrote "We love our Kingston Thursdays! Can’t wait."

The Kingston food truck night promises not only a variety of delicious food from new and returning food trucks but also a different live music performance each week, guaranteeing a fun-filled evening for the whole family. Mark your calendar for April 18th to join the start of a season filled with delicious food and live music!
