Thief steals $3,600 of tools from construction site
Danville, Pa. — Police say an unknown suspect broke into two construction trailers in Valley Township, Montour County and stole $3,600 tools. Someone got into the site at Valley West Road over the weekend of April 5-8 and broke into two trailers owned by Glenn O. Hawbaker, according to Trp. Casey Ward of state police at Milton. The suspect removed all of the tools, including Milwaukee and Stihl tools with the initials GOH carved into them. Items stolen include a Milwaukee hammer drill, two Stihl chop saws with the initials, and a Milwaukee cordless kit. Anyone with information may contact PSP Milton at 570-524-2662 and reference incident number PA24-456145.

Blaze damages Pa. winery occupying building that previously housed a fire company
The investigation is continuing into what caused a fire inside the building that housed the Firehouse Winery in Shamokin, Northumberland County. Located in what was the former Liberty Hose Co. at 211 E. Sunbury St., the fire broke out during the afternoon of April 21 and drew emergency personnel from the Shamokin Fire Co., according to WNEP.
