Stabbing suspect located at local bar
Williamsport, Pa. — A local man accused of stabbing and strangling a family member Tuesday morning was taken into custody by detectives who found him at a local bar. Detectives with the Lycoming Regional Police Department located Alex Gary Morgan, 30, of Williamsport at Kelly’s Grill on W. Fourth Street on March 21 after investigating an assault, police said. Morgan allegedly punched a 51-year-old relative in the face, breaking his glasses in the process, according to a release from investigators. ...

State Police Say Joint Investigation Leads to Two Drug Arrests
MILTON – Not too many details on the crimes committed are out yet, but state police in Northumberland County say they worked with police in Montour County on a drug bust. Arrested were Jacqueline Brosius of Danville and Joel Depaolo of Bloomsburg, they say they’re charged with numerous drug delivery and theft charges.

Man pays for $1,300 of propane with bad checks: Police
New Columbia, Pa. — Police say a man received 395 gallons of propane but had insufficient funds to cover the amount he ordered. David Lenhart, 35, of New Columbia, wrote a bad check for $889 on Dec. 21 to Beco Propane of Mifflinburg, according to state police at Milton. Lenhart then ordered an additional 100 gallons of propane knowing he did not have the money to pay for it. The total amount of fuel taken was worth $1,382, Trooper Casey Ward said. Charges of bad checks and theft by deception are pending.
