Braceville couple arraigned on charges stemming from dog attack on toddler
A couple out of Braceville was arraigned on child endangering charges Tuesday and Wednesday after police say their dog attacked a toddler. Both 26-year-old Jonah Fisher and 26-year-old Destany Myers pled not guilty to two counts each of endangering children with Fisher being arraigned Tuesday and Myers being arraigned Wednesday.

Drones And K9 Units Used To Help Capture Two People In Channahon Wanted For a Lottery Ticket Fraud Investigation
Channahon Police assisted the Minooka Police Department in apprehending two people in a Lottery Ticket Fraud Investigation. At approximately 6:09 a.m. the Channahon Police Department assisted the Minooka Police Department when a vehicle fled from Minooka Police on Bluff Road west of I-55 that was wanted for a Lottery Ticket Fraud Investigation. During the pursuit, spike strips were deployed on Center Street in Channahon, however, the fleeing vehicle evaded the spike strips by jumping a curb, almost striking a Minooka Police Officer. The pursuit continued back onto Bluff Road to S/W Frontage were the vehicle crashed into the ditch on the west side of the road. The passenger was immediately taken into custody and the driver fled on foot into the woods west of the Frontage Road.

Keg Grove opens in Morris, Rotaract Club celebrates 1 year
Keg Grove Brewing Company, a craft beer brewer, is officially open inside the old Morris Fire Station at 222 Wauponsee St. It will be open five days a week for now, according to the Keg Grove Brewing Company Facebook page. It will be open from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
