Bridgeport Police Respond to Motorcycle Accident on Route that Results in One Transported to Hospital
According to WBOY, a two-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle shut down the westbound lanes of U.S. Route 50 Friday night and sent one person to the hospital. According to an official with the Harrison County 911 Center, at around 9:03 p.m., crews were alerted to a vehicle accident with injuries on U.S. Route 50 near the 2nd Street exit in Clarksburg.

Temperatures Continue Rising for Sunday
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - After seeing cool temperatures throughout most of the week, we are finally heating up and just in time for the weekend. Temperatures started rising above average yesterday and continued today with highs hitting the upper-70s and low-80s across the area. Sunday and Monday temperatures will continue to rise, expect to see highs in the mid to upper-80s and the potential for some record-breaking highs. We will see our next round of rain return Tuesday, but even with a cold front crossing, we will see highs back into the 80s towards the end of the week as we start May on Wednesday.
