Amber Alert issued for Elias Huizar, suspect in deadly shooting
WEST RICHLAND— The Washington State Patrol issued an Amber Alert for the former Yakima Police officer accused of murdering two people Monday afternoon. The WRPD described the shooting suspect as 40-year-old Elias Huizar, who stands at 5'6" and weighs roughly 170 pounds. Authorities believe Huizar fled the scene in a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with license plate number CBZ4745.

Fire destroys Selah mobile home
SELAH- A fire broke out in a mobile home on Gibson Road in Selah around 2PM, Monday April 22nd, with the home completely destroyed. Crews responded to the call on the 600 Block of Gibson Road, after the homeowners had escaped the blaze; but the home was lost despite the very quick reaction by multiple crews. We spoke to Fire Commander Jason Woods at the scene who told us:
