200 new homes coming after April land use decisions in Sussex County
About 200 new homes will be built in southern Delaware after three new subdivisions received approval at Sussex County Planning and Zoning Commission meetings in April. Millsboro man arrested for assault, resisting arrest
LONG NECK, Del. – A Millsboro man is behind bars on multiple assault and resisting arrest charges following an incident early Sunday morning. Just after 5:30 a.m., troopers were called to a house in the 26000 block of Oak Forest Lane for a reported assault. They learned that a man, identified as 35-year-old Brandon Myers, had assaulted a woman at the house and left. A short time later, troopers found Myers on the property of a business in the 32000 block of Long Neck Road and tried to take him into custody, however, he physically resisted arrest. Myers then allegedly tried to take a trooper’s gun from the holster while they were arresting him.
