Driver Who Slammed Into Deputy’s Vehicle Charged, Under The Influence
The driver who slammed into the back end of a St. Louis County deputy’s vehicle was under the influence, according to the criminal complaint. Court documents say 25-year-old Logan Niemi of Kinney, Minnesota crashed into the deputy’s SUV around 9 a.m. Monday morning. This happened on Highway 169 in Mountain Iron.

Range Shrine Circus returns after six year absence
HIBBING—The one and only Range Shrine Circus is making a comeback, carrying on a tradition that started in the 1950s. Hosted by the Range Shrine Club, the Range Shrine Circus historically a biannual event was last held in 2018 at the Hibbing Memorial Building. Iron Range elementary school receives $60K grant for playground
HIBBING, Minn. (Northern News Now) - An Iron Range elementary school just received a huge grant to help make their playground accessible to everyone. Lincoln Elementary in Hibbing just received a $60,000 grant from Lake Country Power Friday morning. The school got the grant through a new education improvement program.
