Driver Who Slammed Into Deputy’s Vehicle Charged, Under The Influence
The driver who slammed into the back end of a St. Louis County deputy’s vehicle was under the influence, according to the criminal complaint. Range Shrine Circus returns after six year absence
HIBBING—The one and only Range Shrine Circus is making a comeback, carrying on a tradition that started in the 1950s. Hosted by the Range Shrine Club, the Range Shrine Circus historically a biannual event was last held in 2018 at the Hibbing Memorial Building. Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast
The Knights of Columbus will host a community breakfast at St.Joseph’s Catholic Church from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday, May 5th. The menu will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, coffee and milk. Cost is a free-will offering and all proceeds will be donated to Itasca County Habitat for Humanity. Founded in 1992, Itasca County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a global non-profit working to eliminate substandard housing worldwide. Since organizing, the Itasca affiliate has served 57 families in Itasca County. With a goal of serving more families through new home construction and a home repair program, the affiliate is currently seeking volunteers, board and committee members. Iron Range elementary school receives $60K grant for playground
HIBBING, Minn. (Northern News Now) - An Iron Range elementary school just received a huge grant to help make their playground accessible to everyone. Lincoln Elementary in Hibbing just received a $60,000 grant from Lake Country Power Friday morning. The school got the grant through a new education improvement program.
