Dunedin man hospitalized after hitting two cars. Police think he was drunk
CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Dunedin man is in the hospital in critical condition after he was weaving in and out of traffic and hit two cars on Saturday night. Motorcyclist Matthew W. Dolch Jr., 26, was driving south on U.S. 19 near Enterprise Road and weaving in and out of traffic in a "reckless manner," according to a news release from Clearwater officials.
Coast Guard rescues 2 near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Coast Guard boat crew rescued two people after they became "disoriented" on their boat on Saturday morning. Then men were near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and were retrieved by the crew to meet EMS at Coquina Beach South Boat Ramp, according to an X post by the United States Coast Guard Southeast District.
Police: Hillsborough road re-opened after serious crash
TAMPA, Fla. — The east and westbound lanes on East Columbus Drive were reopened following a serious crash, according to Tampa police.
