Registration has opened for annual 'Illiniwek Abermination Mountain Bike Race'
HAMPTON, Illinois — Registration for this year's annual Illiniwek Abermination Mountain Bike Race is open to the public now. The race takes place on Saturday, May 4. The race at Illiniwek Forest Preserve, organized through the Quad Cities Friends of Off-Road Cycling (QCFORC), takes riders across some of the bluffs overlooking the mighty Mississippi River and is packed with flowing corners, wooden berms and descents for riders of all skills. Race organizers have debuted new improvements to this year's course to make the ride even faster.
